Padres de 1 hijo adoptaron 4 hermanos... ¡ahora tuvieron cuatrillizos!

Maxine Young, de 30 años, y su esposo Jacob Young, de 32, originarios de Reading, Pensilvania, pasaron de cero hijos a nueve en solo cuatro años.

Lo anterior sucedió luego de que la pareja decidió adoptar niños, algo que siempre deseó Maxine, ya que se dio cuenta que los menores necesitan “hogares amorosos”.

“Después de aprender sobre el cuidado de crianza, siempre estuvo en mi corazón”, indicó Maxine para Good Morning America.

“Comenzamos a tomar clases de cuidado de crianza y fuimos aprobados en aproximadamente dos meses. Ni siquiera un mes después, recibimos nuestra primera llamada de colocación”, agregó.

Posteriormente adoptaron tres hermanos menores de cuatro años, pero a poco tiempo de cuidar a los menores, recibieron otra llamada de adoptar a la hermanita de esos tres niños, por lo que no lo dudaron.

The Babes. Silas cracks me up in all the photos we take. He’s just such a chunky boy and always smiling. Believe it or not though, he’s only a pound bigger than Beck. The babies are essentially 10 1/2 pounds, 9 1/2 pounds, 8 1/2 pounds and 7 1/2 pounds as of about a week ago. It’s funny how babies grow. Silas, Beck and Cecilia all eat the same amount, Silas is just a bigger baby. “Le dijimos que sí a su hermanita y fue uno de los mejores de mi vida”, dijo Maxine.

Maxine quedó embarazada meses después mediante inseminación intrauterina, luego de dos años que intentaron tener un hijo, mismo que nació en octubre de 2018.

Tras un tiempo la familia de siete se dio cuenta de que Maxine estaba embarazada otra vez, luego de que creyeron no podían tener hijos naturalmente. Ahora, la pareja tendría cuatrillizos.

“Al principio estaba emocionada, pero eso se convirtió rápidamente en nerviosismo”,señaló. “Los médicos hicieron que pareciera que sería imposible tener cuatro bebés sanos y querían que redujeramos”.

En julio 2020, la familia recibió a los cuatrillizos y ahora son 11 en casa.

We dove in head first, without knowing how to swim. It felt like all we did was tread water for the first few months. YOU, you are the hero’s of this world. The silent soldiers who make this world a better place just by being in it. I am in awe of you. All of you. You have shown me what matters in this world. You have given me glasses so that I could see the world through a different lens. Unrelentingly beautiful souls who have persevered through the toughest of circumstances and come out surprisingly kind and trusting. The world needs more people like you in it. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I am eternally grateful for the joy you have brought into my life, the love you have shown me and the unimaginable strength you have displayed. I have had the most cherished honor of taking care of you, loving you and protecting you for the past two and a half years. It has changed me. You have made me better, in every way possible. Now I have the greatest honor of being your mama. You have given me the most meaningful and fulfilling role of my lifetime. Thank you for the forgiveness and grace you have shown me as I navigated my way through learning how to be a mother, for accepting me as I am, despite my flaws and for showing me that wishes and miracles aren’t only in the movies.
